Pacific Northwest - June, 2001

GEO’s Pacific Northwest (PNW) chapter meeting was held on February 15, 2001 at the Seattle offices of Deloitte & Touche. The 22 attendees participated in a discussion lead by Linda Steffen and Marlene Zobayon of Deloitte & Touche on global equity compensation issues including general concerns in granting and designing global stock plans, employee/employer taxation issues, qualifying plan considerations, securities issues, administration tips, and other topics. The PNW chapter has decided it will hold lunch meetings five to six times a year. The next meeting will be held after the GEO conferences at the Starbucks headquarters and discuss considerations on labor laws internationally."
