As a Global Compensation Analyst at Micron, you will be responsible for designing tools and executing processes that support and sustain Microns base pay strategies, processes and programs to attract and retain talented team members who are motivated to be part of Micron. In all your responsibilities you will be expected to work with the highest level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
In this position, you will:
Oversee all aspects of Microns global base pay plans & dependent systems and processes.
Support market-based base pay analysis, allocations and distributions.
Communicate and educate on plan intent, process and impact.
Provide accurate and timely interpretation of programs and regulations pertaining to compensation-related decisions.
Advise and determine job classifications (including Global Job Structure).
Assist in implementing improvements to Compensation processes that lighten administrative burden on managers and achieve greater leverage of Microns compensation investment.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with site management, HR Business Partners, and other HR managers and team members.
Collaborate and communicate with Global HR partners and Micron customers with integrity, trust and complete professionalism.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
An ability to understand compensation theory and application in various countries.
An ability to translate higher level strategies/objectives into specific work plans with a critical eye for details.
An ability to multi-task and balance competing demands under tight deadlines and to anticipate/manage change.
Demonstrated consulting, project management, coaching, influencing, independence and interpersonal skills.
Mathematical aptitude and strong analytical skills.
An ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, is essential.
Proven ability to confidently interact with all levels of the Company including executives and senior management.
Experience working with international and domestic compensation groups is required.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience is required.
This job does require travel as well as flexible work hours in order to work in partnership with our global sites.
Education:
Masters or Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field.
