GEO Conference 2004 - Attending Information

Conference Fees and Registration Information

Registration for the conference includes lunch on Monday and Wednesday, dinner on Monday night, attendance to all the group sessions and the breakout sessions of your choice. The conference will be three days beginning on Monday 19 April, and continuing through Wednesday 21 April 2004. Attendees are invited and encouraged to arrive on Sunday 18 April, for registration and to join us for the opening cocktail reception in the exhibit hall.

*Please note: The conference is open to GEO members only. For this reason, the conference fee for non-members includes a one year membership in GEO. The conference registration fee for non-members is exactly $295 more than the fee for members. This $295 difference represents the cost of a one year (365 day) membership in the Global Equity Organization. A one-year membership in GEO runs from the date of registration up to the same date the following year.

You may now select the workshops you wish to attend or you may check or change the workshops you have already selected in your conference registration. You may even come back and make changes to your workshops selections by using the above link, up until one week prior to the conference.

Conference Registration Cancellation Policy

Registration is open and you may register for the fifth annual GEO Conference until Friday, 16 April, 2004. If you must cancel your conference registration we offer a 100% refund of the registration fee up until 31 January, 2004. After that time our cancellation policy is in effect.

Cancellation Policy. Between 31 January 2004 and 15 March 2004 we will refund 1/2 (50%) of the original conference registration fee for canceled registrations. After 15 March 2004 there will be no refunds.

If you are not able to attend and you must cancel your conference registration after 15 March 2004, you will have the option of substituting another person from your company/firm/organization to attend in your place. This person must be, or needs to become a GEO member to attend the conference in your place. Also, in order for someone to attend the conference in your place you must contact our officemanager@globalequity.org. You cannot perform this substitution yourself.

If you wish to cancel your conference registration after 1 March 2004 and there is no one to attend in your place, and if you feel there are extenuating circumstances surrounding your cancellation, you will need to contact our Executive Director at Director@globalequity.org regarding your desire to cancel your registration.

For new members joining GEO in conjunction with conference registration, the amount of your fees attributable to your membership are not refundable under our conference cancellation policy.

Credit card refunds will be processed within 5 days of the request.
