Joseph Blasi holds the J. Robert Beyster Chair in Employee Stock Ownership at the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey where he teaches the undergraduate and graduate courses on corporate governance. He is currently serving as director of the Fellowship Program at Rutgers University which awards competitive fellowships to emerging scholars in the social sciences and humanities for the study of broad-based equity ownership and profit sharing. He is also a Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn. He has published numerous books and articles on these subjects including his new book, The Citizen’s Share (with Richard Freeman and Douglas Kruse), forthcoming by Yale University Press in the fall of 2013.
