AST Equity Plan Solutions Hires John Hammond as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives 05-09-2010
NEW YORK, May 05, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, LLC (AST) announced today that it has hired John Hammond as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for AST Equity Plan Solutions (EPS), a division of the company. John will be based in EPS' Philadelphia headquarters and will be primarily focused on developing and expanding the company's strategic partner relationships as well as managing the product development function.

Prior to joining EPS, John held strategy, industry relations and sales management roles with Computershare's Equity Compensation Services group, which provides equity plan outsourcing and software solutions under the Computershare and Transcentive names. John is active in the industry as a speaker and has served in a variety of leadership roles within several industry organizations and committees. He is a long standing member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) and the Global Equity Organization (GEO). He also obtained his CEP designation from the Certified Equity Professional lnstitute (CEPI) in 2000 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) certificant.
