2017 Global Equity Market Trends
Established in 2013, the Global Equity Insights Survey (GEIS) captures the market practice of participants from all over the world. GEO has published the 2017 results, which addresses the use of equity as a long-term incentive on a global level covering important topics such as plan types and design, implementation and administration challenges as well as linkages to company performance and employee satisfaction. Join us as we share the major survey findings from this year’s study for the first time and hear how the findings will impact your HR and equity compensation strategy in the future.
Presented by:
Sarah Clark, Solium
William Pang, Prudential Corporation Asia

Corporate governance landscape in Asia-Pacific
We will review the corporate governance landscape in Asia-Pacific as it impacts executive compensation and especially long-term incentive plan practices, with a view of how recent changes and current trends such as increasingly stringent disclosure rules are likely to impact future practices. We will also provide an overview of the increasing visibility and influence of institutional investors – including advisory firms such as Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) – in Asia, and how their views of executive compensation governance are increasingly impacting regional market practices with regard to LTI designs.
Presented by:
Trey Davis, Willis Towers Watson
