Data privacy is an important regulatory requirement for companies granting equity on a global basis, yet for many companies, data privacy protection—historically—has been a neglected area of the law. With data protection legislation recently enacted in a number of non-EU countries, including Asia and Morocco, data privacy protection issues are on the rise and will likely require greater attention by companies doing business globally. In this webcast, panelists from Deloitte will share reasons why it is more important than ever to take the data protection aspect of your share plans more seriously and will also provide you with tips for assessing your company’s exposure to risks in this area. Participate in this webcast and find out whether you have adequate protection around data privacy.
