Mr. Cox has extensive experience in contentious and non-contentious labour and employment matters, with an emphasis on corporate governance matters, employment issues facing private equity companies, cross-border employment issues, whistle-blowing and discrimination claims, collective labour and industrial disputes, large-scale redundancies and workforce restructurings, and the employment aspects of public and private mergers and acquisitions. He has particular expertise in the private equity and transport sectors.
Prior to joining Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, Mr. Cox practiced as a partner in the Employment, Incentives and Pensions department of a major English law firm, which he joined in 1997. He earned his LLB in 1992 from Queen Mary & Westfield College.
