We are looking forward to gathering with you in Chicago and we remain confident that we will be able to do it safely. However, we understand that the situation with COVID-19 changes and requires us to be flexible. Due to these unprecedented circumstances, we have temporarily revised our policy to support our attendees. GEO is providing a no-risk cancellation policy.
We will offer a 100% refund on your registration fees or the option to roll your registration to a future GEO event at any time between now and 8 April 2022. Cancellations between 9 April 2022 and the event date that are a result of illness or other extenuating circumstances are at the discretion of GEO and subject to a $150 administration fee.
This policy will apply to your event registration fees for GEO's 23rd Annual Conference only and does not apply to any other reservations made related to this event such as hotel accommodations, transportation, meeting room requests, or other conference-related third party reservations.
In order to cancel, you must email michele.holly@globalequity.org. We will not be able to process cancellations in any other manner. We must hear from you regarding your cancellation as no-shows will be ineligible for refund.
Sharing of conference registration/login and password information is not permitted. Credit card refunds will be processed within 5 days of the request.
We look forward to welcoming you to GEOvirtual2022. If you must cancel your registration, we offer a 90% refund of the registration fee until 15 March 2022. Between 15 March and 15 April 2022, we will refund 50% of the original registration fee for canceled registrations. After 15 April 2022, there will be no refunds.
If you are not able to attend and you must cancel your registration after 15 April 2022, you will have the option of substituting another person from your organization to attend in your place. This person must be or needs to become, a GEO member to attend the conference in your place. In order for someone to attend the event in your place, you must contact michele.holly@globalequity.org directly with your request.
If you wish to cancel your registration after 15 April 2022, and there is no one to attend in your place, and you feel there are extenuating circumstances surrounding your cancellation, please contact michele.holly@globalequity.org for information on how to apply for an exception to the cancellation policy.
