GEO is pleased to kick off the first evening of our 23rd Annual Conference with an Opening Reception, sponsored by Morgan Stanley at Work! As attendees enjoy savory hors d’oeuvres and drinks, the Opening Reception is the perfect opportunity to catch up with old colleagues and contacts, visit the exhibitors and make new acquaintances. Be sure to stop by Morgan Stanley at Work’s booth to enjoy a special Chicagoan cocktail and meet our special guests. Everyone is encouraged to bring their A-game and learn more about the exciting interactive event planned for later in the evening at SPIN Chicago!
Following the Opening Reception, all conference attendees will travel a few blocks from the hotel to SPIN. The brainchild of actress Susan Sarandon, SPIN is a ping pong social club that is all the rage in New York, L.A., San Francisco, and now Chicago! SPIN Chicago doesn’t disappoint when it comes to bringing out the competitive spirit in all of us! Our guests can look forward to an unforgettable evening with those who don’t just want to sit around and stare at their smartphones. Our group will enjoy exclusive access to the eclectic bottom club level which includes our own private tournament or a pickup game for fun on STIGA ping pong tables. Interactive ping pong pros will circulate throughout the evening offering game tips and demonstrating fun tricks.
A lively DJ will be spinning tunes while guests make a stop at the photo booth to capture amazing memories of finally being together again. Don't forget to experience the unique graffiti walls curated by local Chicago artists and savor delicious food stations along with a dedicated open bar. Oh, did we mention prizes will be involved?
Join the best and brightest in the industry for a Fellows-only mimosa breakfast event where you will have the opportunity to network with other GEO Fellows. Becoming a Fellow is an honor bestowed upon those who demonstrate leadership, integrity, and involvement in the global equity world. This breakfast you will be surrounded by likeminded colleagues where you can dialogue about best practices, industry hot topics and meet the newest members honored into the Fellows. Invitations will be sent directly to FGE members.
The GEO Awards is known as a night to remember. A night where we all come together, new friends and old, to recognize the achievements of companies made in the industry throughout the year. These companies have demonstrated innovative plans, outstanding communication and overall creative designs for equity and executive compensation plans. Accomplishments made are from companies large and small, multinational, and single region from various industries, showcasing a true representation of companies from all across the globe. The GEO Awards Dinner will include presentations and is followed by an after party to celebrate the accomplishments of the evening. This event will be black-tie or formal optional, or business attire.
This event is open to guests of registered attendees for an additional fee, please contact Michele Holly at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to register your guest.
