Biography:



Bob joined Citigroup in 1999 after a 36-year career at Ernst & Young LLP.  For 25 years Bob was the partner in charge of EY’s Expatriate Services practice in New York and during that period served a large and diverse group of the firm’s global clients in the financial services, consumer products, media and entertainment industries.  Bob spearheaded EY’s entry into the global stock plan arena, and was a national spokesperson for the firm.

At Citigroup, Bob has been responsible for optimizing the global tax effectiveness of Citigroup’s equity compensation programs and developing enhanced communication tools for participants outside the US. He has managed  projects directed at the tax effectiveness of, and tax compliance for, Citi's Global deferred stock and deferred cash programs. Bob also managed Citi's Tax research that led to implementation of processes to secure corporate tax deductions in more than 80 countries for awards granted under these programs.

A graduate of Brown University with a B.A. in Economics, Bob received an M.B.A. in Accounting from Columbia Business School, where he also served as Adjunct Professor of Taxation.
