Global Shares announces the results of the Fourth Annual Global Stock Plan Administration Survey

Global Shares is pleased to announce the results of the fourth annual Global Stock Plan Administration Survey. This online survey examines how companies worldwide are administering their plans, the personnel who support these plans and the support services provided. The survey is geared towards large and small companies worldwide who provide stock plans to their employees. Companies who administer their own plans as well as companies who outsource their plans find the survey information relevant.

This year, 187 companies from around the world participated in the survey, providing valuable information on the average cost per participant to support stock plans, number of individuals supporting the plans and the number of companies who are currently outsourcing or managing the administration themselves.

Global Shares CEO Carine Schneider commented, “This survey continues to be an important component for our industry to understand how plans are managed – not how they are designed. This will give us all the information we require to properly manage and understand the costs involved with these important programs.”

Results will be available by the end of May, 2010, with a report provided to all survey participants. There was no charge to participate. The non-participant fee for the final report is US$175. To purchase the final report, interested parties can visit the Buck Consultants website, Global Shareswill be providing a copy of the Executive Summary on the Global Shares website,
