Corporate governance landscape in Asia-Pacific
We will review the corporate governance landscape in Asia-Pacific as it impacts executive compensation and especially long-term incentive plan practices, with a view of how recent changes and current trends such as increasingly stringent disclosure rules are likely to impact future practices. We will also provide an overview of the increasing visibility and influence of institutional investors – including advisory firms such as Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) – in Asia, and how their views of executive compensation governance are increasingly impacting regional market practices with regard to LTI designs.

The Global Equity Organization (GEO) was pleased to host attendees to the first Greater China Chapter meeting. This informal social event took place on Thursday, March 23, 2017, and a wide arrange of snacks and a complementary drinks were served.

The Greater China Chapter is an excellent opportunity to network with share plan professionals from the Greater China region and share ideas for the upcoming GEO Greater China Chapter Meeting in May 2017.
