Financial Times Chief US Commentator Edward Luce to Speak at the 13th Annual Global Equity Organization Conference Plenary Will Provide Global Social, Political, Economic and Business Perspective to Share Plan Professionals

Orange, CA - 7 March 2012 - Global Equity Organization, the 4,500 member non-profit organization dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding of equity compensation worldwide, today announced that Washington columnist and Chief US Commentator for the Financial Times, Edward Luce, will deliver a plenary address at the 13th Annual GEO International Conference on 18 April 2012 in Washington, D.C.

Luce will share insights and global perspective on the current world social, political, economic and business environment and the financial markets. His talk will explore global challenges and potential implications and impact on companies, employees and equity compensation strategies.

Luce has worked for the Financial Times since 1995 as Philippines correspondent, capital markets editor, South Asia bureau chief in New Delhi and Washington bureau chief between 2006 and 2011. In 2000, he was the chief speechwriter for Lawrence H. Summers, the US Treasury secretary. His first book, In Spite of the Gods, The Strange Rise of Modern India remains a high seller.
