In this session, Shopify will share their research findings which led them to believe that there is a better way to approach compensation decisions. The results? A decision to throw out the rigid HR cycles and move to a more dynamic, flexible, and human-centered approach, what they label as "agile." Instead of a once-a-year cycle, Shopify is using tripwires and enhanced tooling to support compensation (salary & equity) decisions throughout the year, specific to the individual's unique journey.
