21.2 "Understand Your Employees"—Employee Engagement and the Future of Employee Incentives

This session will look at the current media, political, and corporate governance focus on employee engagement. In particular, this panel of experienced practitioners will look at the heightened focus on this area following recent events, including the impact of global situations such as the death of George Floyd and the COVID-19 pandemic, and new regulations around gender, ethnicity and CEO pay ratios. Attendees will learn how employee incentives can help to tackle challenges of employee engagement, as well as hints and tips as to what works and what doesn’t, and how the focus on employee engagement might shape employee incentives going forward. Come to this session for answers to questions such as how important is employee engagement and what role do employee incentives have in this? What impact are new rules around gender and ethnicity pay reporting having on companies? How might the focus on employee engagement affect global plan design going forward? Join us and learn how to understand, and engage, your employees better!
