TOPIC
Remote Work & Taxes in the Post-COVID World
With the vaccinations rolling out, there is light at the end of the tunnel for the pandemic to be over. But what will the post-pandemic world be like for corporations, many of which have had their offices closed for the last year? Office shutdowns due to the pandemic led to an unprecedented level of remote work last year; sometimes from a country or state that is not the individual’s employment location. As the world prepares to return to normal, what does this mean for remote working?

As the equity team, are you prepared to meet the challenges of payroll compliance for those remote workers with equity compensation including multi-country or multi-state reporting and tax withholding? Does your company have remote work policies? What about appropriate data tracking systems?  Attend this session and learn about telecommuting trends, what the experts are predicting for the future of remote work, how companies are responding and how you should be prepared to stay one step ahead.

As a participant you will learn about:

  • Trends in remote work
  • Employer payroll tax obligations for remote work
  • Considerations for a remote work policy.
