TOPIC
M&A - Insights from Experience
Dealing with mergers and acquisitions can be overwhelming; but with a process, it’s manageable and we can help.  Stock plan veterans will share their best practices from the initial announcement up to and through consummation of the deal.  You will learn who needs to be involved and how to assemble the team, what your project plan must contemplate, the frequent forgotten, critical resources and tools, a communication strategy, and the significance of education for employees, shareholders and key stakeholders.  If you’re in the midst of a transaction or are preparing for one, this is worth your time.

As a participant you will:

  • Understand approaches to defining roles and responsibilities and working with your service providers
  • Gain insights on best practices for managing acquired employee communications
  • Hear some unique challenges you might face in an international environment
  • Acquire perspectives on handling grant conversions and acquired system connections.
  • Hear about post-close administrative challenges, such as reduction in force accelerations and escrow handling.
