GEO's Event Policies
For our live in-person and live virtual events:
If you must cancel your registration, we offer a 90% refund of the registration fee until 60* days prior to the event. Between 59* and 45* days out, we offer a 50% refund of the registration fee. After 45* days out, there will be no refunds.
If you are not able to attend and you must cancel your registration after 45* days out, you will have the option of substituting another person from your organization to attend in your place. This person must be, or needs to become, a GEO member to attend the conference in your place. In order for someone to attend the event in your place, you must contact us directly with your request.
If you wish to cancel your registration after an estimated 45* days out, and there is no one to attend in your place, you will need to contact us regarding information on how to apply for an exception to the cancellation policy.
Sharing of registration is not permitted.
Credit card refunds will be processed within 5 days of the request.
For our on-demand events:
Registrants have access to on-demand recordings at their convenience, therefore registration fees are non-refundable.
For our regular webcast events:
Webcasts are free to members. For non-members, since registrants will also have access to on-demand recordings at their convenience after the live broadcast, registration fees are non-refundable.

Privacy
GEO is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. By registering for this event Registrants agree to the use of information provided in connection with registration to be used in accordance with GEO's Data Privacy Policy. Registrants allow GEO the use of their image, name, job title, company name, company logo, postal address, phone (when needed for technology authentication purposes) and email address. Registrants also consent to the sharing of their information, including company. and postal and email addresses, with event sponsors and exhibitors for purposes such as, but not limited to, pre and post event lists (when applicable), special event invitations, etc. If a registrant does not agree to the sharing of the information described herein with event sponsors, the registrant must notify GEO of their desire to be exempted at the time of registration.
As an attendee, you may voluntarily share personal information with sponsors, exhibitors and other event attendees during your conference experience. In doing so, you are choosing to supply this information of your own volition and GEO accepts no responsibility for this exchange of information.
Event Code of Conduct
GEO is committed to providing a harassment-free event experience for all attendees. We expect attendees to follow our Code of Conduct at all events. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status, as provided by local, state, or federal law;
- sexual harassment including unwelcome attention, stalking and physical contact;
- abusive conduct that has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with another person’s ability to enjoy or participate in the event, including social events related to the event;
- undue interruption of any event, speaker or session; and
- sharing of event passes.
Attendees and guests must be 21 years or older to attend evening events where alcohol is served.
GEO has a zero-tolerance policy for hostile or harassing conduct. If a person engages in such conduct, appropriate action will be taken, including but not limited to expulsion from the event, restriction from future attendance, and/or withdrawal of GEO membership.
