ABOUT CHAPTERS AND OUR COMMUNITY
GEO Chapters are local communities that bring together equity compensation professionals through signature networking events and high-quality educational content. Whether you're a GEO member or just exploring, everyone is welcome to attend chapter events and connect with others in their area.
Chapters are run by enthusiastic local volunteers who are passionate about sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration. They provide a mix of local and global insights to help you stay at the forefront of the share plan and compensation industry.
By joining a chapter, you become part of a close-knit community dedicated to your personal growth and professional success. GEO makes it easy to connect with like-minded peers, build meaningful relationships, and stay informed.
Find your local chapter here.
You can view our current chapters here.
GEO welcomes and supports the creation of new chapters in regions where there is strong interest and an active community of members. To get started, GEO recommends forming a local leadership team to drive membership and engagement.
Chapter leadership should:
- Consist of at least three active GEO members
- Include a mix of issuer and provider representatives
- Designate a primary contact (or co-leads)
- Choose a structure that best suits the local market and community
If you are a GEO member and are interested in starting a chapter, we encourage you to complete our short application form so we can understand your goals and how GEO can support you in building a successful local chapter.
We’d love to hear from GEO members who are eager to get involved and help shape the direction of their local chapter. By contributing to your chapter’s leadership team, you’ll play a key role in bringing a diverse and engaging agenda to your regional community.
To express your interest, we recommend reaching out to your chapter’s current leader(s) directly.
You can find contact details on the relevant chapter page.
