
John Hammond is an Associate Partner with Aon Human Capital Solutions leading the Communications Practice which focuses primarily on video and print material creation and employee education in the equity and broader compensation space. John was the founder and CEO of bendystraw llc which Aon acquired in 2017. John has been compensation and benefits focused since 1999, originally beginning with Great Lakes Strategies, and then with several other equity administration providers until forming bendystraw in 2014. Prior to joining the equity plan industry, John was a financial planner and advisor for 10 years.
John has a long and active history as a GEO member including attending the 1st Annual conference in Orlando in 2000. John has been a speaker at a variety of GEO events, including events on three different continents, as well as other industry meetings and conferences on a wide range of issues surrounding equity compensation, communication, administration, and reporting requirements. John earned his Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation in 2000 and served on the CEP Advisory Board from 2010 – 2017 and chaired the board from 2013 – 2014. John became a GEO Fellow with the 2019 GEO Fellows.
Armon Bättig is a Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Ledgy, Europe’s leading equity and share plan management software. As a key driver of Ledgy’s go-to-market strategy, Armon is focused on scaling revenue, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence. With a deep understanding of B2B SaaS and enterprise sales, he has played a pivotal role in Ledgy’s growth, helping the company reach major revenue milestones and establish itself as a category leader.
Michael is a lawyer and Swiss Certified Tax Expert and the Co-Founder of Sterchi Share Incentives & Pensions AG (SSIP) a company supporting its clients in the design, implementation and roll out of global executive and share plans. Before founding SSIP Michael was partner and the head of the executive compensation group at KPMG in Zurich and has 25 years’ experience in assisting Swiss and international companies in relation to the design and global implementation of executive compensation, equity and pension plans including accounting, valuation, tax and legal issues.
Gabbi is Executive Director of the Global Equity Organization. She is passionate about the power and purpose of global equity share ownership.
Prior to her current role at GEO, Gabbi was Chief Executive of ShareGift, the share donation charity and grant making foundation for four years. Immediately prior to her appointment as CEO she served as a trustee board member of ShareGift for 14 months. She joined ShareGift as CEO after running the UK share plans industry body ProShare for five years, having enjoyed a lengthy career in executive and global employee share ownership at three different FTSE100-listed issuers and at two service providers, Equiniti and Link.
A chartered Company Secretary and lifelong learner, Gabbi is currently studying for a Masters in Philanthropy, Grantmaking & Social Investment at Bayes Business School in London. To relax, Gabbi enjoys running, cooking and creative pursuits.
Deidre is a Managing Director at Infinite Equity, specializing in valuation, accounting, and plan design for her clients. Deidre has over fourteen years of compensation and benefits experience. Prior to joining Infinite Equity, Deidre held positions at two large consulting firms, most recently focusing on equity compensation solutions and previously retirement plan benefits. Deidre earned a Bachelor of Art in Mathematics/Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Certified Equity Professional, and is on the San Francisco NASPP Chapter Board. Deidre is based in San Francisco.
Sarah joined WEALTH at work in 2021 and heads up the new business team based from her home in Yorkshire. Sarah has extensive experience in both broad based and executive compensation plans on an international level and has over 20 years’ experience in the quality plans/employee benefits market. She is passionate about all aspects of wellbeing in the workplace and in particular financial wellbeing to help improve peoples lives. A keen runner having participated in many marathons and is proud to have raised over £28,000 for Breast Cancer charities. In her spare time Sarah is also a Rugbytots coach.
