We are delighted to introduce the GEO Future Leaders Class of 2026 – our third cohort of emerging talent from across the global equity community.
This year’s class brings together 17 outstanding professionals from eight countries, representing both issuer and provider/advisor organizations. Spanning Belgium, Canada, Germany, Luxembourg, Norway, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States, the cohort reflects the international reach and diversity of the GEO community.
Each member brings their own experience, expertise and perspective to the program, with backgrounds spanning equity plan management, executive compensation, tax, compliance, client services and relationship management. Together, they represent an exciting new generation of professionals who are already making their mark on our industry.
Through the GEO Future Leaders program, the Class of 2026 will have opportunities to develop their leadership skills, learn from established industry leaders, build lasting connections across the global GEO community and collaborate on a project that contributes new thinking to the equity compensation profession.
We are proud to support them on this journey and look forward to seeing the ideas, collaboration and impact the Class of 2026 will bring to GEO and the wider global equity community.

David has been part of the stock compensation world since 2010, bringing perspective from both the issuer and vendor sides of the industry. Matthieu Sabonnadiere
Matthieu began his career in 2015 as an international tax attorney at Baker McKenzie and then CMS in Paris. While he enjoyed the intellectual rigour and technical complexity of tax law, he was looking for a stronger sense of purpose and a broader perspective.
After completing an MBA in 2020, Matthieu joined Roland Berger’s strategy consulting team, developing his expertise in finance, strategy and management. In 2024, Banque Transatlantique entrusted him with building its Long-Term Incentive (LTI) practice in Belgium, covering share plan management, executive advisory and the synergies between LTIs and debt financing.
For Matthieu, LTIs bring together everything he values: legal and tax technicality, financial impact, strategic thinking & execution, and the opportunity to help companies share value with their people.
Bringing a fresh eye from his different background, he believes the LTI ecosystem is often too fragmented. Greater value can be created by bringing together different areas of expertise — from legal and tax to implementation and executive advisory, technology and communication, as well as between global and local providers – or using tools from other industries like strategy consulting or marketing.
With this ambition, Matthieu co-created the Belgian Chapter in 2025. The Chapter aims to connect LTI professionals and create a platform for sharing knowledge, best practices and market trends. Matthieu is also a regular speaker on LTI topics at professional forums and industry events.
