
Sandra is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in global equity compensation, global stock plan services management and administration, and legal and corporate governance administration. In her role at SAP, Sandra is responsible for global equity compensation strategy and the design of best-in-class global equity compensation programs to facilitate SAP's attraction and retention of key talent.
Sandra holds a BA degree in political science from the University of Virginia, and began her professional career as an active-duty officer in the US Army Transportation Corps. She is a Certified Equity Professional and a Fellow Global Equity, sits on the board of directors of the Global Equity Organization and is an active member of the NASPP and WorldatWork.
Rodney Bolden, Executive Director, is the Head of Industry Engagement and Learning for Morgan Stanley at Work. In this role, Rodney works with a variety of industry organizations to develop and present thought leadership research on current trends in workplace financial benefits. Additionally, Rodney is the host of the award-winning[1] Morgan Stanley at Work Invested at Work Podcast. He is also the Chairperson for the Employee Benefit Research Institute’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council.
Rodney’s speaking engagements include the World Economic Forum, United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Global Equity Organization, National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) and many others. He has also been published in MarketWatch, BenefitsPro, and AARP. Rodney is an Equity Compensation Associate (ECA), Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC), and Accredited Financial Counselor®.
Rebecca Kargl is Equity Manager for Zillow Group. In this role, she works on the Corporate and Securities Legal team and manages equity administration and analysis, employee education, and collaborates with various internal and external teams on all matters related to equity planning, processing, accounting, and administration. Rebecca formerly worked as Payroll Manager as well as Senior Executive Compensation and Stock Plan Administrator for Concho Resources Inc., prior to the company’s acquisition by ConocoPhillips in early 2021. Prior to joining Concho in 2011, Rebecca worked as an auditor for Weaver.
Rebecca is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Certified Equity Professional. She is a member of the Global Equity Organization (GEO) and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) and is President of the Dallas Chapter NASPP. She is also part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce with NASPP. Rebecca graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northwood University and a master’s in business administration from Texas Tech University. She currently resides in Texas with her two children.
Tom Paleka joined Gallagher in September 2008 as Vice President of Global Compensation, a newly created role. Promoted in 2016 to lead the global rewards function, he has overall responsibility for guiding the company’s equity, compensation, benefit, mobility and payroll organizations. In 2018, he was named an officer of the company.
Prior to Gallagher, Tom had twenty years of extensive background in human resources, sales compensation, sales management, and sales operations, with such companies as AT&T, Ameritech, and Tellabs.
Tom has served on the Global Equity Organization (GEO) Board of Directors since 2017, and serves as Secretary of the Executive Committee, Chair of the Issuer Advisory Council, and as Lead Judge for the GEO Awards. He also has been an active member of the Fidelity Stock Plan Services Client Advisory Board. He has spoken at conferences for such organizations as GEO, NASPP, IBIS, CEPI, Equilar, World at Work, and the Conference Board. Tom has also been involved with Junior Achievement for over 40 years, and has served on the Junior Achievement DuPage County Board of Directors for nearly 20 years.
Suzie Bentley, CPP, is the Director of Global Stock Administration at NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA where she began as the Payroll Manager over 19 years ago. Working in the Silicon Valley Hi Tech Industry for over thirty years, her experience includes domestic and global workforce mobility issues, system conversions, M&A activity, developing and delivering educational materials for over 26,000 NVIDIA employees in 34 countries and collaborating with Benefits to offer financial wellness programs.
Suzie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from the University of Oklahoma, an Oklahoma Teaching Certificate and has been a Certified Payroll Professional since 1999. She enjoys learning about new countries’ requirements through networking with members of the National Association for Stock Plan Professionals, Global Equity Organization, and the American Payroll Association.
At Siemens Energy, Sebastian Wetzel is responsible for Compensation & Benefits globally. In this position he, amongst others, drives the design and group-wide implementation of short- and long-term (equity-based) compensation instruments and processes for executives and employees. Before joining Siemens Energy, Sebastian has been responsible for Compensation & Benefits, People Analytics and Governance at Bilfinger SE. He started his career at hkp/// group, an international HR consultancy where he advised companies particularly with the design and implementation of strategic talent and performance management processes and instruments, as well as executive and non-executive compensation.
Sebastian Wetzel holds a M.Sc. from the University of Mannheim with a major in strategic management.
Sam has been working in equity compensation for 9 years and has experience working on both the service provider (Fidelity and E*trade) and issuer side (Lyft) of equity plans. Sam began working at Lyft in 2019 and has focused on creating efficiencies in current processes. Some of his recent projects include implementation of a new payroll system, automation of ESPP enrollment and changes, automation of mobility and equity tax withholding, and Federal equity tax elections.
Oksana is a Senior Manager in EY People Advisory Services practice based in San Jose, California. During her more than 15 years in professional services Oksana served a big number of prominent multinational and hyper growth startup companies in the areas of tax, employment law, HR risk management and process design, including M&A due diligence and integration support. Oksana has an extensive experience in a wide range of People Advisory Services with the current focus on global equity and rewards.

Ludmilla Maurer, a counsel, joined Baker McKenzie’s Frankfurt office in 2010. She is a member of the German Tax Practice Group, a member of the EMEA Steering Committee for Employee Benefits and a member of the Global Immigration & Mobility Steering Committee. Ludmilla advises German and foreign clients with respect to national and international tax, corporate law and tax controversy issues. Her practice focuses on tax advice in connection with M&A transactions and corporate restructurings as well as with the implementation of employee benefits programs. She also advises high net worth individuals, families and global financial institutions on cross-border tax and trust structuring, asset protection and multijurisdictional investment structures.
