Recognizes an employee share plan that can demonstrate meaningful and measurable success against clearly defined organizational and employee objectives.

Recognizes a privately held organization that has developed an effective approach to employee equity ownership, overcoming the particular challenges of the private company environment to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Recognizes an organization that has successfully introduced, expanded or adapted employee share ownership in an emerging market, responding effectively to its particular regulatory, economic, cultural or operational challenges.

Recognizes outstanding use and treatment of employee equity during a merger, acquisition, restructuring, divestiture or other significant corporate action, with strong outcomes for the organization and affected participants.

Recognizes innovative and effective use of technology, automation, data or AI to solve an employee equity challenge and deliver measurable improvements for participants, administrators or the organization.

Recognizes an original and resourceful solution to a specific employee equity challenge that demonstrates creative thinking, effective implementation and meaningful results.

Recognizes an employee share plan that uses an original or significantly redesigned approach to meet corporate and employee objectives while successfully addressing relevant regulatory, tax, governance or cultural considerations.

Recognizes an organization that has delivered an effective financial education or wellbeing initiative connected to employee equity, helping employees better understand equity within their broader financial position or rewards package.

Recognizes an outstanding GEO Chapter that builds a strong, engaged local community through relevant learning, knowledge sharing and meaningful connections, strengthening the share plan profession and GEO’s global community.

The Judges’ Award recognizes a company, organization or individual that has made an exceptional contribution to promoting global employee share ownership or advancing the equity compensation profession.
