Shane Hughes is the Director of Total Rewards Stock Plan at Walmart, bringing experience in managing Walmart’s equity compensation program.

Known for his strategic approach, Shane plays a key role in securing compliance, enhancing financial well-being, and fostering engagement among Walmart's associates.

Prior to stock plan administration, Shane gained valuable experience in corporate treasury, where he was responsible for daily cash management, short-term investing, and borrowing.

Outside of work, Shane is an aviation enthusiast, and avid scuba diver.

Courtney Petroski is the Head of Executive Compensation and Global Compensation Policy for GE Aerospace, a role she assumed in January 2024. In this capacity, Courtney leads the Executive Compensation practice and provides strategic leadership in the design of policies, practices, and projects for GE Aerospace’s total rewards strategy.

She is responsible for overseeing the company’s Executive compensation activities, including the Equity and Deferred Compensation programs. Along with engaging with GE’s senior executives on matters of the design, development, implementation, communication, and administration of the company’s Executive and broad-based compensation programs.

With over two decades of experience as a compensation professional, Courtney has a proven track record of driving business results and establishing strong partnerships with senior leaders, often during times of significant change. Before her current role, she led Executive Compensation and the Total Rewards function at GE Corporate during the company's separation into three publicly traded entities. She has also held progressively responsible roles in Total Rewards across GE Corporate, GE Capital, and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Prior to these internal roles, she spent seven years as a compensation consultant with McLagan, a leading provider of compensation studies and consultancy for the Financial Services industry.

Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Management from Gettysburg College. 

Sandy is a Principal focusing on the design, compliance, operational, and stakeholder experience considerations of global rewards programs. He has helped U.S. and non-U.S. companies navigate the complexities of operating equity and non-equity based programs, including global grant strategy considerations, tax technical and practical issues impacting rewards programs in M&A, change management, stakeholder communications, corporate tax issues relating to incentive programs, qualified plan implementations, cross-border issues impacting globally and domestically mobile employees, as well as daily plan administration. Sandy also supports many organizations with their employee recognition programs, and serves as the Deloitte Lead Alliance Partner for Deloitte’s alliance with AwardCo.

With more than 25 years of corporate services experience, Dan helps major public and private companies implement customized corporate cash programs, employee equity plans, and qualified and nonqualified retirement plans. Working to develop a robust understanding of each client’s objectives, Dan seeks to align Morgan Stanley’s solutions with participant engagement strategies to help drive business outcomes. 

Dan has worked in relationship management and institutional sales positions in the equity compensation industry throughout his career.

Derek is a global mobility tax partner with Vialto Partners.  Derek has 20+ years of experience working with multinational companies and their employees on their cross-border equity tax matters.  Derek began his career working in Boston, Massachusetts before transferring to San Jose, California.

In the past several years Derek has focused on assisting high-tech companies manage the challenges of their global employee workforce. His experience includes cross-border equity reporting, employee education, international tax planning, frequent business travelers, expatriate program management, and cross-border payroll.

Derek is hyper-focused on employee experience and building solutions that work at scale but feel personal.

Derek holds a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University and a Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. Derek is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both Massachusetts and California as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Outside of work Derek enjoys coaching his children’s ice hockey teams and outdoor activities such as hiking and biking.

Jim Alden serves as Director of Strategic Relationships within Charles Schwab’s Workplace Financial Services division. His primary responsibility is partnering and collaborating with corporate Stock Plan clients to establish strategic plans that empower and encourage employees to get the most from their equity awards. Mr. Alden has over 18-years of broad experience in financial services spanning across transfer agency, market research, and equity plan administration businesses. He is currently an ECA and FINRA series 7, 63, and 24 licensed.

Christy joined the Dell Technologies HR team in 2015 as a Compensation Business Partner and has partnered with many areas of the company including HR, CFO, Legal/Security, Marketing, Product and Operations, and Global Sales. Currently, she manages Dell’s Stock Plan Services team, overseeing approximately 26,500 participants across 80 countries. 

Before her tenure in HR, Christy held various positions within Dell Finance, including Corporate Reporting, Treasury Accounting, and Pricing.  Prior to coming to Dell, she worked at Ernst & Young and KPMG in their audit practices. 

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Christy attended the University of San Diego. She now resides in Round Rock, Texas, with her husband of 24 years, and their 17 year-old daughter. Outside of work, Christy enjoys traveling, practicing Pilates, and spending time with her two dogs.
