Zackary Crumpton – Computershare
Zackary is the Head of Relationship Management for Computershare Employee Plan Managers in North America. He has more than 20 years of experience as a trusted advisor. He guides the relationship management teams to partner with clients to understand their changing needs and drivers to deliver market-leading solutions and services. He is a member of the Global Equity Organization (GEO) and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP).
Veena Bhatia is currently Head of Global Stock Administration at Atlassian Corporation. Veena has extensive knowledge of world-wide regulatory, legal and tax environments for equity plans in over 35 countries. Her experience includes developing effective employee communications and education materials; Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; managing broad-based 10b5-1 trading plans; and mergers and acquisitions. After transitioning to equity compensation from a former career as a hardware engineer, Veena has enjoyed using her technical skills to improve processes for scalability and efficiency in order to manage rapid growth.
Prior to Atlassian, Veena held equity compensation roles at Gilead Sciences, Stock & Option Solutions and Cisco Systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University, her CEP designation, and is a certified project manager. She has been a frequent guest speaker at industry events.
In her free time, Veena enjoys traveling to new and interesting destinations and trying local foods and wines.
Ms. Rozowski has over 25 years’ equity experience with small to mid-sized multi-national companies ranging from 200 to 9,000 employees. She has worked in multiple industries across 25+ countries. She has been involved with stock option exchanges, mergers and acquisitions, participant education, plan design and implementation, IPOs and other corporate actions in the course of her career.
She has participated in panel presentations representing the issuer viewpoint at industry conferences and in webinars, including U.S. and Canada cross-border administration, Demystifying and Determining DTA Balances, and Options for Underwater Equity? What Can and Should be Done?
She is a member of the Global Equity Organization and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. Ms. Rozowski holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and earned the Certified Equity Professional rating from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University.
Christopher Hall joined GTN in 2009 and serves as Managing Director. He has more than 25 years of expatriate tax experience. His analytical approach to data and straightforward manner is reflected in how he handles each unique tax or program issue: logically and rigorously until he finds the right answer.
Helier joined JTC as part of the RBC cees acquisition in 2021. As the Head of Institutional Client Services (ICS) in Jersey, Helier has responsibility for the strategic development and performance of the Jersey ICS division including Employer Solutions, Funds and Corporate Services.
Prior to joining JTC, Helier was the Head of RBC cees in Jersey, and has previously held a range of senior roles at RBC across their Fiduciary services and Corporate & Institutional businesses.
Diederik is a tax professional with more than 20 years of experience in Global Mobility and International Expatriate Tax matters. He leads the Walmart Global Mobility International Operations team for all cross-border movements and employment tax compliance. Past employers include IBM, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He brings experience design and implementation in global mobility programs and processes for long- and short-term assignments, one-way transfers commuters and business travelers. He is a trusted advisor to key stakeholders in Corporate Tax, Legal, People and Business Units related to global mobility and cross-border employment tax topics; and has subject matter expertise in international tax law compliance and planning for compensation packages, deferred compensation, equity awards and other compensation items.
He is a graduate of the University of Amsterdam, where he earned a master’s degree in Fiscal Economics with majors in personal tax, corporate income tax, international tax, business economics and mathematics. Diederik is an IRS enrolled agent as well as a Certified Equity Professional with CEPI. He was recognized on the Benivo list of most admired and innovative global mobility professionals in 2021 and 2022.
Brett Herand is a Principal in the Chicago office of Pearl Meyer. Specializing in executive compensation, he works with Boards and management on issues related to performance measurement and value creation, incentive plan design, and technical advisory work with respect to tax, accounting, and SEC regulatory issues.
Mr. Herand works with diverse companies across several industries. His client base consists of middle-market, publicly-traded companies and private companies. He also regularly consults with financial sponsors and their portfolio companies on compensation strategy.
Mr. Herand has moderated roundtables and served as speaker for various industry constituencies, including the NACD, Equilar, and WorldatWork. Additionally, he has been quoted extensively across various publications including Workspan, The St. Louis Business Journal, Agenda, Financial Advisor IQ, and Compliance Week. Finally, he has authored numerous articles, blog posts, and papers as published by Pearl Meyer.
Prior to joining Pearl Meyer, Mr. Herand practiced executive compensation in Mercer’s Chicago office.
