Melanie has over 20 years' experience in people and HR functions. Currently a scaleup advisor and consultant, her most recent role was as Chief People Officer at Lendinvest, where she led the business through an IPO on the AIM market in 2021.

Will Clifton is an associate in the Employee Benefits Group, part of the Employment Department of the London office of Baker McKenzie. He is a member of the Firm’s Global Employment and Compensation Practice Group, which provides tailored advice in respect of a variety of corporate, tax and labour law issues. Will joined Baker McKenzie after more than 8 years at PwC where he worked in the Reward & Employment and Global Mobility business units.
Will advises on a wide variety of matters relating to employee taxation, including share incentives, executive remuneration, disguised employment and the impact of corporate transactions. Will has a particular focus on employees with an international working pattern and the associated complications which arise with this.

Currently, her role at global technology company Amadeus, listed in Spain, covers executive pay, incentive plan, global mobility, pay equity and broad-based reward strategy. Holly has worked as a leader in Reward with various technology players. Holly’s focus has been executive pay, equity, and incentive schemes. Having lead Reward functions for US and British companies, before Amadeus, she has experience in job architecture, M&A, strategic reward and change management. She has advised on organizational design, IPOs mergers & acquisitions and demergers. With US/UK dual nationality, Holly holds a Doctorate in Law from Emory University School of Law. She worked initially as a US benefits tax lawyer, moving to the area of executive pay in the UK in the early 2000’s.

Rebecca is a Managing Associate and specialises in all aspects of global employee and executive incentive plans for many leading global companies, including establishing and designing new plans, drafting plan documentation, advising on global tax arrangements, including tax-qualified structures across multiple jurisdictions, global due diligence and compliance. As well as presenting at industry events, Rebecca leads Tapestry’s Summer Spotlights and global webinar programmes. During her time at Tapestry, Rebecca was also an elite athlete who represented England in the 100 metres.

Tom Stevenson is an Investment Director at Fidelity International. He writes and speaks on markets, investments and personal financial issues, appearing regularly in the national press and in broadcast media. After a 20-year career as a financial journalist, working for, among others, The Independent and Daily Telegraph, he has been at Fidelity for 16 years in a number of editorial and client-facing roles. He writes a highly regarded weekly column in the Telegraph.

Tom is Relationship Director on Equiniti’s Corporate Dealing team. He has 15 years’ experience in employee share plans, with 5 years working with EQ’s dealing team. He manages bespoke share dealing and custodial services for corporate clients and high net worth individuals. He deals with large share plan vestings, including employee dealing at IPO.

Ghal is Client Director with over 20 years’ experience within Equiniti’s Corporate Dealing department. He provides dealing and custodial services in equities for both corporate and institutional investors, as well as for offshore trusts and directors. He specialises in share plan trading, as well as IPO custody and sell downs.

Hayley is a strategic reward leader with extensive reward, benefit and share plan experience in complex multi-national organisations. Passionate about designing affordable reward frameworks and solutions that are aligned to business strategy, meet business needs and attract and retain talent. Experience includes grading, benchmarking, global pay reviews, incentive design and implementation, global share plan management, policy development and executive remuneration. A true believer that reward strategy, programmes and interventions can only be leveraged when truly embedded into the organisation and well understood by colleagues, and so needs to be underpinned by simple and engaging employee communications.
